Label days against a 2,000-calorie day
A kit sold as "30 days" is 30 days at whatever daily calorie figure the maker chose. In this data set those figures run from 1,290 to 2,000. Dividing each kit's total by 2,000 puts them on one scale.

Sorted from the biggest shortfall to the smallest. Legacy kits are left out of this table because Legacy already states its days at 2,000 calories.
Why 2,000
The FDA uses 2,000 calories a day "as a general guide for nutrition advice" and notes that needs run higher or lower with age, sex, height, weight and activity (FDA, read Nov 5, 2026). The planner lets you pick 1,800, 2,200 or 2,500 instead. Nothing here is diet advice; ask a doctor about your own needs.
Reading a label quickly
- Find total calories, or calories per day times days.
- Divide by 2,000 for an adult-day count.
- Divide again by the number of people in the home.
- Compare with the days your city asks for.
