How this site works

Closet Days is a small reference site for people storing emergency food and water in an apartment. It has no staff bios because there is nothing to sell you on: the numbers are the product.

Where figures come from

Product figures are copied from each maker's own product page and dated. We then look for an independent seller listing the same item. If the two agree, the item is tagged "checked twice". If they disagree, the item goes on the hold list with no figures used. If no second listing turns up, the tag says "maker page only". Missing figures are shown as "not published"; nothing is estimated.

Where guidance comes from

Only from FEMA's Ready.gov, the CDC, the American Red Cross, the FDA and city emergency offices, each quoted and linked. Closet Days adds arithmetic, never its own safety rules.

Money

The site carries no ads and no paid placements today. Product links go straight to maker pages. If that changes, for example through affiliate links, this page will say so first and each affected link will be marked.

Updates

Prices and recipes change. Every figure carries a read date so you can see how old it is. Corrections go to support@closetdays.com.
